I was rearranging some photo boxes the other day and came upon this fun idea to personalize gift tags.I scanned the photos into my computer. For the red snowman tag, I printed the photo at wallet size. Next, I stamped the snowman from the Sparkles- Let it Snow set. on a transparency and colored with Copic Markers. (I used the transparency so I could flip the image to get the snowman from having his arm in my face.) I glued him onto white cardstock that I trimmed around his body. Otherwise the photo would show through. Then I attached the snowman to the photo and onto the card. I used my Cricut to create the tag and "to". It's embellished with red brads, a large silver eyelet and red fiber.
For the pink tag, I cut out the picture and added it to a patterned paper background with the snowman. I stamped the snowman twice- once on white cardstock to color with markers and again on the pink paper. I cut out the colored snowman except for his arms and the bottom snow drift around him. I glued the cut out right onto the second snowman.
The striped tag was to add a little fun and be goofy. Again, using the same Sparkes Let It Snow stamp set I stamped the small Santa Snowman on white cardstock. I colored and cut him out then attached him to the picture. (I'm the little one with the big grin) The snowflake button was tied with Scrapper's Floss. Wait until my sister sees this online!
Big things are coming here tomorrow. Stop in to see what's happening!
